Rowan Nimry

Flag Football Coach

Rowan brings a lifelong passion for football and several years of coaching experience to North County Sports Academy. Growing up in a family of diehard Detroit Lions fans, he developed a love for the game at an early age while also competing in club soccer, volleyball, and flag football. Rowan began coaching during his senior year of high school with the Friday Night Lights (FNL) flag football league and has continued coaching two teams each season while providing private, position-specific training. Most recently, he joined the Oceanside High School Varsity football coaching staff, further expanding his knowledge and experience. Rowan’s coaching approach emphasizes strong fundamentals, football IQ, confidence, and creating a positive environment for young athletes. While pursuing his college degree, he continues to grow as a coach with the ultimate goal of one day working for an NFL organization.
