Baseball is a game of details, timing, and repetition. Coaches help athletes build the small habits that make a big difference, from how they throw and field to how they approach each at-bat and understand what is happening on the field.

Every athlete learns differently. North County Sports Academy offers baseball training options for players who want weekly skill development, focused hitting work, one-on-one coaching, small group training, or school-break camps.
Hitting Classes
Vicarious Athletics (Batting Cages)
Improve contact and confidence at the plate while developing proper swing mechanics, bat speed, timing, and power. Players receive professional coaching in a small-group environment using various hitting stations, front toss, coach pitch, and pitching machines.

North County Sports Academy partners with
Vicarious Athletics, a local indoor batting cage center at The Shoppes in Carlsbad, to give our baseball athletes access to a focused training environment for hitting, throwing, skill work, and player development.
Cage Rental Rates Through NCSA
HitTrax Cage rental
Additional $15 per hour
HitTrax ball-tracking technology that provides instant swing feedback. No pitching machine. Can be used for hitting, fielding, and pitching. Subject to availability.

Where do Baseball Private Lessons take place?
Private baseball lessons mainly take place at outdoor parks throughout North County, San Diego.
At-home lessons are also available for families with suitable training space.
Indoor lessons are available at Vicarious Athletics Indoor Batting Cages for an additional fee, subject to facility availability.
Do you offer Private Lessons for pitching?
Yes, we offer Private Lessons specifically for pitching. Lessons can take place at Vicarious Athletics, local public parks throughout North County San Diego, or at a private residence when suitable training space is available.
What equipment is required for a Baseball Private Lesson?
A baseball glove and bat are required for all Baseball Private Lessons.
Do you offer teams or leagues?
At the moment, we do not offer teams or leagues. North County Sports Academy currently focuses on Private Lessons, Small-Group Classes, and Camps.
